2nd semester biology = evolution....=(

We're learning about evolution now in biology...ugh. I don't even get it; evolution is strictly theory and highly illogical. Scientists and 'experts' say that "so and so layers are billions of years old', and all that. But how can they really tell? And the whole common ancestoral descent thing is so sketchy. And yet, it's the only thing the schools can teach us without 'bringing religion' into the schools, even when the idea of a God is so much more realistic than that nothing magically exploded into a living cell, which then proceeded to form all life singlehandedly. At school today, my teacher basically said, "We are not trying to change anyone's beliefs. You have your own beliefs, but just keep them to yourselves or talk about them with your friends after school." It goes to show you what a messed up world we are living in, and how liberal our schools have become. I hope and pray that someday, at the very least, the education systems will realized how messed up what they are teaching the next generation is.
