I love martial arts, especially in a Christian atmosphere. (I would never participate in any mystical stuff.)
I love writing and I believe that God has given me a gift for it. I purposed long ago to use this gift for the glory of God.

| Movie: |
I like action movies, especially ones with martial arts, but I'm also very careful about the things that I put into my mind. I know that God wouldn't want me to fill my mind with meaningless junk, and I really don't desire to. Therefore, I don't watch movies with excessive gore, swearing, or sensuality. It's also nice when the movies teach good moral lessons, being action-packed and entertaining at the same time. A few good examples would be Only the Strong (one of my absolute favorites) and the Spiderman movies. I love going to PluggedInOnline to see movie reviews. Sometimes it protects me and my family from watching something that looks good, but is really a wolf in sheep's clothing (so to speak). I also like clean comedy and cartoons. And if you want my opinion, I think the movie Fireproof is one of the most amazing movies EVER!!! :D

My all-time favorite artist is TobyMac! (You can't tell right?) I also like Group 1 Crew, DC Talk (of course, because Toby used to be part of it :)! ), KJ-52, John Reuben, and much more! My favorite genres of music or hip-hop and rock, but I like pop too.

We don't get cable T.V. (Of which I am very thankful. Too much junk.) My family occasionally buys good T.V. series that we like on D.V.D. (It's awesome. You can choose what you want to watch, never have to worry about missing an episode, and you don't have to worry about pesky commercials!) My favorite is the MacGyver series from the late 80's-early 90's.

| Books: |
I love digging into my Bible and reading devotional-type books. I also like solidly Christian books with some action mixed with romance and topped with a little mystery. Actually I like a lot of varieties of Christian books! If it's a book that glorifies God, and encourages others to serve Him more, I'll probably like it! Some of my favorites are "Romance God's Way" (can't think of the authors, but they're a Christian couple who tell their story of how they met by waiting on God - excellent book!), and I love the books "One Tuesday Morning" and "Beyond Tuesday Morning" by Karen Kingsbury! (Those are AWESOME! Great storyline! I'm working on the third in that series now, called "Every Now And Then.")
