About Me

Hey My name is Anthony, I just recently completed an internship at Bethany World Prayer Center called 220i. Now that I am out I am living in Baton Rouge, LA. I am falling more into grips of Jesus by the days, and love seeing the miraculous power of God demonstrated in and through people. I believe that church should move not in pretty words or in eloquent speech, but in the demonstrative power of God.(1 Cor 1:17) Since living in Louisiana I have seen cancer destroyed, lame walking, deaf hearing, mute speaking, and what I have not seen, does not mean I won't. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen. (Heb 11:1) High schoolers are pulling people out of wheel chairs, babies that were missing lungs at birth now have lungs without a single incision to their bodies. God is the great miracle worker nothing is impossible through Christ who strengthens me (us). This is an about me section right I'm going a little crazy for the about me section, well who is me, well it is no longer i who live, but christ living in me (Gal 2:20) Well if it is christ in me, then I guess my about me should be about what he is doing. I am not trying to sound super spiritual and I apologize if I am coming across that way, I sat down to right and this is what is coming out, that Christ in you shouldn't just be something that you for you to keep and kick it with other Christians and your witness is that you carry a bible around at school or work. But your witness should be the very power of God living inside of you. That when freinds are lost, hurt, and broken they know that you have life for them. That when there is sickness threatening their family they know that you can bring healing to them. I don't just mean prayers "father heal them please" and "Give the doctors wisdom to bring a speedy recovery" I mean declaring in your god given authority "Be healed NOW in the name Jesus" and "Cancer leave NOW" and not taking no for an answer. And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal EVERY disease and EVERY affliction. (Matt 10:1) that authority wasn't just reserved to the 12 disciples in Mark 16:17,18 Jesus said these signs will follow ALL those who believe. Now I've said a lot on healing, but God has called us to demonstrate him that even means moving in all the gifts of the Spirit. Words of knowledge. It is amazing what happens when by the Spirit of God you tell people something about themselves, they get freaked out or radically saved and turn to tell every one that happened. The woman by the well, she went back to town and began to tell everyone "this man has told me all that i have ever done", by the way she got saved. Just look in John 4. I am not here to judge or condemn, but to urge the church which has seemed to settle for second best, ( just look, all the T-Shirsts with redone slogans of already large companies, where is our own creations not just an off brand of the World, that's just one example) to press on, and press in till they see the very power and presence of God demonstrated not just your nice little envoirnment where the devil is out to get you, like so many great men of have said, I've read the last chapter of the book and it says We already won. Church is not supposed to be safe, but the largest most power filled group of radical extremists. I really didn't mean to write all this, but like I said I just started writing and here it is. I love Jesus and like Moses I'm not satisfied just having God as protecter, or Healer, but I want to see you Lord face to face, cause better is one day with you than thousands elsewhere.
