About Orchard Drive
Whether in a small studio, outdoor festival or a packed nightclub, they are always excited to make energetic, melodic rock with a purpose. This is the music of Orchard Drive, originating in Rochester, New York. The members have always remembered having a love for music, though it took a while for them to find a project that they fully believed in.
In 2005, Nate Cronk (lead vocals/guitar) formed the beginning stages of O.D. with keyboardist Tim Lambert. After adding Eliot Giebel (bass guitar) and Pete Gallagher (drums) into the mix, the chemistry was perfect. The band went into the studio quickly and released the One Year EP in early 2006. After beginning to gig only in the summer of 2006, the band placed second in the Rochester Ugly Idol Battle of the Bands Competition, competing against 27 other established bands. They have shared the stage with acts such as Mae, Edison Glass, Jennifer Heieck, and Shelflyfe. After their fan base had ballooned in only a year, Tim left the band to pursue a family and career. The three remaining members have discovered a slightly heavier, straight-ahead rock sound that their fans have shown a greater approval for. Orchard Drive is better than ever and could not be more excited about what lies ahead.
