I know that she gives away stuff to people who need it. At the core of her belief, however, I don't see Jesus as much as I see her celebration of the American dream and how she made it big. "The Secret" which she promotes puts you in charge of what you get in life rather than God. What do y'all think?
Oprah seems to get further and further away from the Gospel of Christ and more into the "Health and Wealth" gospel.
She has gone as far as stating that she cannot believe that Christ is the only way to be saved, doesn't understand how people who have never heard the name of Christ could or could not be saved (obviously she hasn't read Romans very carefully). And she continues to push the idea of being "self-reliant" rather than "Christ-reliant."
I don't want to take anything away from the philanthropic work she's done, but I don't believe her motives are correct. It seems like she's doing good things for personal glory rather than God's glory. As Matthew 6:16 refers to, if you seek glory from the World, you already have your reward. The implication here is that you won't be rewarded in Heaven.
Oprah should meditate more on Matthew 6:33:
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Matt 6:33 (ESV)
She's a Universalist ....so the answer is NO.
That's where the world is headed - - all ways lead to God - getting us set up for a One World Religion .....
Oprah says that she is a Christian, however, she does not believe the very words that Christ spoke when he said that "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except by me." You have to believe the words of Christ in order to be a real Christian so since she does not believe that Jesus is the only way to God, then she is not really a Christian. Jesus taught that He is the only way to God and only believers in Christ receive the Holy Spirit.
I heard that Oprah has been supporting the new age beliefs and things like it.

I don't know much about Oprah, so I can't really say. But from what I have seen I'd have to say no.
