Darwin himself said that evolution is just a therory, why is it so popular? Whenever scientists try to prove evolution they end up making themselves look foolish. Evolution has been disproved each time and ends up supporting creation. Why then do scientists continue to look for evidence of evolution? Because it isn't creation. Some scientists say that they know that evolution is impossible but use it because they don't want God. Sad isn't it?
The very first verse in the Bible states that God created the heavens and the earth. If we believe the Bible to be the truth then it's quite obvious how the earth was formed.
I agree that evolution is ridiculous. I agree with Thy_Word, that when God is taken out of the picture, people have to scramble around to find an explanation for things that God did, even if they are virtually impossible and themselves not scientifically correct. There is so much evidence against evolution, it's really sad that so many people buy into it. The fact that's especially sad is that they are teaching it in schools as if it is a proven fact. I have to learn about it in Biology this year (9th grade), but when it comes down to the test I'll not put what I don't believe in.
I was home schooled so I never had to worry about learning evolution and science based on it, but I know that something that Christian students in public school can struggle with is whether to worry about thier grades or whether to stand up for what they believe in. It can be a tough decision.
yeah, iv always been homeschooled too, and this yr im doing a online public school at home so i will be faced with evolution even tho ill be at home.
We must make a careful distinction between macro-evolution and micro-evolution. The latter is not a theory, but a fact.
As for Darwin, the "theory" part of Darwin's theory was not evolution, but the mechanism by which evolution worked: natural selection.
Regardless of all that, however, Dr. William Lane Craig has done a great deal to completely nullify the argument of evolution based on his idea of the necessity of the fine-tuning of the universe from it's creation.
Dr. Craig argues that, even if the universe was created in a "Big Bang," that within this event, there had to be such incredible fine-tuning to such an unimaginably infinitesimal degree in order to eventually allow for intelligent life, that the most plausible explanation for this fine-tuning would be an omnipotent, omniscient God.

and scientists even consulted the bible wen they were tryin 2 get the formula correct 2 send out the huble space telescope. they had a void in the calculations, that would have possibly crashed the telescope. but they found in the bible where God held the sun in the sky so that the isrealites could win a battle(i dont remember where that is found, ill find it later), which added an hr 2 that day. then there was another time God quickened the sun by an hr(ill find that later aswell), which made the calculations corect and the formula worked. yet they still try and teach evolution in skewls and discourage bibles on campuses.
