Do you believe in the power of prayer? I think while alot of people pray, few realise the true potential of it. I read a book called Prayer Works. It's an awesome book and made me realise how little we actually understand the power of it.

a good prayer format i use is the ACTS
Adoration
Confession
Thanksgiving
Supplication

it helps me not forget anything!
a lot of people only pray supplications, but praising God and thanking Him in our prayers is very important!!

Like you said, a lot of people pray and don't even realize its power. By His own rules, God won't even interfere with our lives unless asked. Prayer is vital in having a relationship with God and opening our lives to miracles.

On Friday, my husband and I had gotten into an argument. I was at work, and I thought, "He's going to get me flowers." So I prayed, "Lord, please don't have him get me flowers - have him get me chocolate instead."
About an hour later, he calls and tells me to come to the door. When I went outside, he handed me some chocolates, and said, "I was going to get you flowers, but I didn't like the way they looked. So I got you these instead."
God even answers those small prayers.

i totally agree wit josh. i love how u said "The power of prayer is based on Who hears our prayer and answers it. Prayer places us in contact with Almighty God, and we should expect almighty results, whether or not He chooses to grant our petitions, deny our requests, or ask us to wait on Him." most ppl think he only answers some prayers, but sometimes the answer simply is just no. or it might b wait.
