God does speak to me

ok well basketball. is... stressfull? yeah. anyway. well me and a few of my friends were stressing out about it because of the coach and stuff... yall know how that goes. well anyway one night at church all 5 of us were talking about it and we realized that we were prob the only Christains on our team. which made us think... we needed to reach our teammates AND ...............our coach. so we prayed and decided that we were no longer in this for basketball, but for Jesus. like... God didn't give us this opportunity to whitness because we were in basketball, but rather... he gave us basketball so that we would have an opportunity to whitness. we were super stoked and on fire for God for maybe... a month? but then things got... you know. we got discouraged... and we pretty much gave up and went back to focussing on the earthly things. and then we were all UBER MEGA STRESSED OUT and things were NOT going well on the team.. and we were all literallly talking about quiting. and then one day after a sunday practice (ikr i was mad too) i came home and was getting ready for church that night, and i picked up my Bible just bein bored and flipped it open, seeing something i had jotted down that the pastor had said that morning. i had not thought anything of it at the time, but..... this is exactly what it said: don't quit. you might just miss the answers to your prayers. needless to say, i showed my freinds and we all realized how selfish we had been, taking what was obviously God's. so could yall just pray for us to keep trying to reach Coach and teammates, no matter how discouraged we get? thanx! i'm just gonna tell you right now- don't let satan get in between you and those you know are lost! cause when you look back and realize that he did- you're gonna feel like pooh
